Bio

I graduated from RISD in 1974 after having majored (at different times) in Architecture, Film, Video, Illustration, Graphics, and Photography. In 1978, I officially started my own business taking pictures of jewelry displays for catalogs. In 1985, I found the perfect studio and I bought the building, ensuring a permanent home for Ric Murray Studio, Inc. In 1987, the digital revolution swept through both still photography and video production, putting quality tools in the hands of anyone who was willing to learn how to use them. I have embraced these tools and re-invented my business several times in the last ten years, and I believe the best is yet to come.
